Kelburn Normal School has completed its exciting journey that has transformed our campus to meet our vision for teaching and learning, for now and into the future.

We now have brand new facilities that were opened by The Honourable Chris Hipkins, Minister of Education, in December 2018.

These facilities involve a brand new learning environment where teachers and children are housed in a two-storey, L shaped building that is built to the latest modern learning standards, is warm and enables diverse learning approaches. The new building was built on the old tennis courts and integrated with the school hall which was upgraded. Where old buildings once stood, we now see play spaces, 2 astro turf play areas and a bigger asphalt surface. A new playground has been added to supplement the wonderful gully area.

Kelburn Normal School children are very lucky to have such wonderful facilities to learn and grow in.
